After working as a clinical psychologist in Texas for several years, I retrained as a pediatric rehabilitation psychologist at Carrie Tingley Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am a professor emeritus at UNMHSC Department of Pediatrics, retiring from UNMH-HSC Carrie Tingley Hospital in 2022 after 24 years of service as a senior clinical psychologist, teacher, mentor, researcher, and professor in Pediatrics and Behavioral Sciences. Over the years I developed the integrative cognitive rehabilitation psychotherapy model (Pedrotty et al, 2022) and co-founded the Integrative Cognitive Psychotherapy Institute with Dr. T. Sim-Wong. Brain and Body Rehabilitation Psychotherapy LLC was started in October 2022 to allow me to continue working with children, adolescents and adults who have cognitive, psychosocial, and behavioral issues related to brain injury, neurodevelopmental issues, and acute and chronic medical issues. In addition, I provide forensic services, training, supervision, and mentoring.
